Introducing the 2017 Seiko Prospex Diver SLA017, an update to the 1965 model that pays homage to the brand's dive watch history. This limited edition watch, of which only 2000 will ever be made, is a reflection of Seiko's extensive heritage and unwavering commitment to horological excellence.
The 38mm case, which is accurate to size and ensures comfort and durability, is complemented by the premium silicone strap. Even in the deep blue sea, it is possible to read the sunburst black dial's luminescent hands and markers thanks to its dual-curved sapphire crystal's anti-reflective coating.
The watch's vintage exterior conceals the cutting-edge Calibre 8L35 automatic movement, which was painstakingly created for dive watches in Seiko's Shizukuishi studio. The SLA017 marries Seiko's illustrious past with the cutting edge of modern watchmaking technology. It is water-resistant to 200 metres and has a 50-hour power reserve.
